Seydikemer (formally known as Kemer) is a small town situated just 1 hour drive from Dalaman airport to which there are year round flights and daily flights to Istanbul (Dalaman is approx. 70km)
An excellent range of amenities can be found in Seydikemer including Banks, Post Office, pharmacies, internet café, cash points, Doctors surgery, Dentist surgery, vets, hardware stores, butchers, green grocers, supermarket chains and barbers/hairdressers.
The quaint town has a town square and picturesque riverside setting. There is a weekly market every Friday where local produce, clothes and souvenirs can be bought.
Seydikemer has recently been given town status with the authorities making vast improvements to the local infrastructure. There have been new roads, block paved paths and underground utilities already and further plans include a central boating lake and a hospital.
All of the recent improvements make the area a secure investment opportunity, as the improvements are sure to increase property prices in the area and therefore a land investment is a very sensible investment as land prices are predicted to escalate within five years.
Seydikemer offers the peaceful living of unspoilt Turkey, with the added benefit of being within easy reach of larger towns and tourist attractions nearby, to which there are regular dolmus bus links which are a cheap and reliable way of getting around.
Nearby places to explore are Saklikent Gorge, the unspoilt and very clean Patara Beach which stretches 22km long, Yaka Park and Tlos, Kalkan, Olu Deniz Beach and its Blue Lagoon and of course Fethiye and Calis Beach.
Fethiye town is just 27km drive which is easily accessed by the recently completed dual carriageway which is just 750m from the lands location.
