For the more adventurous just a short bus ride away you will find the charming harbour town of Fethiye with its pretty Old Town (known as Paspatur) and even closer the popular tourist resort of Calis which has possibly the best sunsets in the Med. The bus (dolmus) picks you up right outside the complex gates and runs from early morning through to late at night. 

A meandering path through orange groves takes you on a short walk to the shimmering waters of the Mediterranean where you will find a secluded shallow bay ideal for swimming and great for families. Approx 20-25 minute stroll through the meadows or via road its 30 minutes walk

From the entrance door, directly ahead of the hallway leads you to the family bathroom which has ceramic tiling to the walls and floors in contrasting white and neutral tiles. There is a full sized panelled bath with splash screening and shower over, low level wc with large frosted window over and wash hand basin with mirror, light and shelf over. There is a floor to ceiling built in storage cupboard in the hallway which is ideal for storage of linens, towels and cleaning equipment.

* The popular holiday resort of Calis with its long promenade and abundance of restaurants, bars and shops is only 6km away (9.5km from main resort centrum/ Baris Manco Boulevard) and can be reached by dolmus (bus) in about 10-15 minutes. The bus service is a reliable and cheap means of transport. 
* The charming harbour town of Fethiye is just 12km (Esnaf hospital area) and can also easily be reached by dolmus bus. Fethiye has a wonderful Tuesday market which is worth experiencing and a great place to barter on holiday souvenirs (13.8km away)
* Yaniklar village allows you to truly experience the Turkish way of life and their friendly hospitality. There are a handful of shops including local convenience stores, pharmacy, post office, pay phones and small clinic.

Location, about Ovacik/Hisaronu Area:
Ovacik is the neighbouring village to the very lively tourist resort of Hisaronu.  There are plenty of bars & restaurants scattered around the village offering a mixed choice of dishes at prices to suit all which are easily reached by a short stroll along the well lit walkways.
Ovacik village provides everything that you could need from supermarkets, green grocers, butchers, barbers and hairdressers, together with car hire companies and excursion reps to name but a few!
For those with families there is a choice of two water parks in Ovacik with one being situated about 800m from the site.
For those not wishing to stray far during the hot day time, there is a nice friendly residents bar which serves a range of snacks and drinks and also has a pool table and table tennis plus a tennis court.
The transport links are excellent with regular dolmus (bus) service to the pretty harbour town of Fethiye (6km north west) and trademark beach and lagoon resort of Ölüdeniz (5.7km south) making it an ideal base for enjoying all the diverse aspects of this captivating area. The dolmus bus service runs all year round and is a popular means of transport due to its reliability and reasonable prices.
The main road where the dolmus bus is caught is just 15m from the site.
This area has proved popular with investors as the tourism trade is rife and rental potential fantastic. It is also a favoured choice by ex-pats seeking relocation and year round living.
Neighbouring Hisaronu was originally a small farming village; it is now a hive of activity during the summer months and home to many shops, hotels, villas, bars and restaurants. Hisaronu is still relatively small in size and is overlooked by mountains and pine forests allowing for a refreshing cool breeze during the long hot summer months.
Hisaronu has plenty of activities for families which include horse/pony trekking, go-karting, childrens fairground and trampoline park, water park and crazy golf.
The center of resort also hosts a weekly market on a Monday so a great place to haggle and purchase some gifts, home wares, clothes/textiles or locally grown fresh produce.
The resort of Hisaronu has grown dramatically over the past few years due to the popularity of Ölü Deniz which is a short bus ride away to which there is a free shuttle service which services the private Lagoon beaches and can be arranged to pick you up from outside the complex entrance.
The center of Hisaronu is only 2.5km from the apartments site (to which the dolmus bus service runs past) however its a flat, paved walkway. A slow walk would be around 25-30 minutes but just a few minutes drive.
