About Uzumlu:
There are still many beautiful places in Turkey that remain relatively un-spoilt and Üzümlü can certainly be considered one. YesilÜzümlü when translated means green grapes and this is what the village is famed for, well those and perhaps more importantly, its wine production. The village is small and feels a world away from the madding crowds of the nearby tourist resorts. It is an authentic Turkish village where traditional houses and, more recently, a number of tastefully built villas or restoration projects lie nestled into the foothills of the Taurus mountains towering a colossal 10,000 meters above.
